Privacy and safety
Dosewise is designed for local use, with clear limits on what the app does.
No account required
Dosewise does not require you to create an account or sign in. The app does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number as part of normal use.
Data stored on your device
Dosewise stores the information you enter into the app locally on your device. This can include medicine names, dose amounts, schedules, dose history, and settings.
Dosewise does not send your medicine information or dose history to a cloud service as part of normal app use.
Notifications
Dosewise uses the Android notification system for reminders. Reminder notifications are generated locally on your device.
Backups
If you export a CSV backup, that file is your responsibility. It can contain private medicine and dose history information. Keep it somewhere safe.
Your Android device or account settings may also control device-level backups. Those settings are managed outside Dosewise.
Medical safety
Dosewise is a record-keeping, timing, and reminder app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Do not rely on Dosewise as the only source for whether or when to take medicine. Follow instructions from your doctor, pharmacist, prescription label, or medication leaflet.
